3 YEAR PLAN FOR THE REFURBISHMENT OF MVOC APARTMENTS

Miraflores Management are pleased to notify all our owners of the progress with the plans for the refurbishment of the 43 apartments in MVOC.

The first Parque apartment was finished at the end of April, which was just in time for the Committee Members to see it whilst here for the Annual General Meeting. Their reaction was indeed a positive response and it was gratifying to all concerned that the work done was successful.

The whole apartment has been fitted with new electric light sockets and plugs. This was necessary and a general safety feature. The apartment was painted throughout in a lovely shade of buttermilk.

The bathroom was upgraded to a higher level with all new accessories and boasts a full shower door. New marble tops sinks and taps compliment the room to make it fresh and modern.

The Small Bedroom has been fitted with a vanity mirror set in a decorative feature and has down lights giving a bright and much needed affect to this room.

The curtains, bedspreads and beds have been renewed, plus new picture, lamps and carpets. I am sure that you will be amazed at the transformation.

The Main Bedroom has also new curtains, bedcovers and bed and features new lamps, carpet and pictures. The main theme was to make it quite simple and elegant.

The Dining Room / Salon area has a new table and chairs, sofa chair and pouffe. The new coffee table and wall unit have been chosen with taste and practicality. The much requested hi-fi and cd system adds the finishing touches to a well thought out upgrade of your apartment.

The quotation for all kitchens have already been received, but of course with the high season already here it is impossible to make much progress. Where necessary they have been already had a new cooker and ceramic hobs fitted, new refrigerator/freezers and microwaves, plus a new window blind to replace the net curtain. This will please many owners since they can leave open the window with the blinds down, fearless of any cats approaching.

We are extremely pleased to announce that now all the apartments in Parque have air conditioning and the final one was completed at the end of June 2003, just in time for our owners who will be arriving this summer.

Some features you will probably not notice are the coving over the large salon window, the spy hole in the entrance door, new doorbells, smoke alarms and the repositioning of the power sockets. These are all being added to the general work in progress.

The terrace has been painted and new furniture provided. Some apartments already had the table and chairs replaced during the year.

We are excited and happy that our owners can benefit yet again from the "excellence" that your Chairman is instigating for you.

STUDIO SUITES

The studios have taken on an entirely new look with a lot of "hidden work" that was essential to upgrade the apartment.

The entrance door has a spy hole and new door handle the interior entrance ceiling has been replaced with aluminium giving easier access to the air condition unit, then new lights have been installed for a totally new and brighter hallway.

The Bathroom now features a change in the wall cupboards, with new sink taps, showers and all accessories. The shower door compliments the look of a modern and spacious bathroom.

The main feature will be the installation of a washing machine/dryer that will be fitted in the area opposite the toilet, since the bidet takes up valuable space and it has always been an area of discussion to do this. It would be more practical and owners will appreciate the fully equipped apartment.

The new ceramic hob, sink plus taps and worktop together with the new refrigerator totally revamps this small but efficient area, with still the space for all the utensils.

The Bedroom area sports a new bed with headboard, and new bedcovers and now the vanity-dressing unit is featuring down lights and new-mirrored wall.

There is now a division between the bedroom area and the salon in a beautiful bamboo double blind. This gives the illusion of a really special focal point.

The Salon area is tasteful and stylish and has the coving fitted above the large window to give a permanent feature with lovely curtains adding to the charm of the room.

The two sofas are now featuring high back cushions and have made a huge impression giving the room a cosy feel and they compliment the new furniture.

The whole apartment has been painted a subtle cream shade and all the plug sockets and electric points have been renewed and smoke alarms fitted. The terrace has been painted and the terrace furniture changed to give the finishing touches to a very beautiful studio apartment that you will be proud to own.
